By imagining a prosperous and sustainable future alongside customers and realizing it with IT, we strive to be a company that “continues to be chosen” by society.

As exemplified by extreme weather across the world, pandemics, international conflicts, energy conversion and the promotion of LGBTQ+, environments around society are changing in an unprecedented manner. As a result, people’s sense of values is about to change drastically. With the broader reach of SDGs as a turning point, sustainability has become an irreplaceable value to society. The same importance of its initiatives applies to companies.

Based on our philosophy of “Using information technology to create new value and contribute to the creation of an enriched future society,” we have consistently strived to contribute to society through customers’ business with technological abilities as our strength, close partnerships with customers and a tenaciousness to never give up since the establishment of our company. At the same time, we have promoted original CSR activities in consideration of the environment, compliance, governance, etc. to respond to trust from society.
To further proceed with these initiatives and contribute to solving social issues through business activities, we established a Sustainability Policy in April 2023. This policy serves as a guideline to conducting activities as a sustainable company towards solving social issues to realize a prosperous and sustainable society. We set four key themes, that is to say, important stakeholders for such activities, customers, employees and business partners plus society, which represent connections among people, including ourselves. By establishing commitments and initiatives unique to our company for each theme, we incorporate a viewpoint of sustainability in management strategies, thereby aiming to realize a sustainable society.

Sustainability Promotion Team

For sustainability initiatives, an approach of back-casting that starts with defining a desirable future and then working backwards to identify solutions is required. By openly looking towards not only the inside but also the outside, we define a desirable future and contribute to solving social issues in order to move towards that future. In this society undergoing rapid changes, we aim to put such initiatives into practice with each and every stakeholder.
Based on our philosophy of “Using information technology to create new value and contribute to the creation of an enriched future society,” we strive to be a company that “continues to be chosen” by society while putting our sustainability initiatives into practice.

  1. 01 Links with customers

We fully understand that links with customers have led to MSE’s current differentiation factors and strengths. Looking back on our history, there have been numerous examples of developments by literally working as one with customers.
I believe that such an accumulation of experiences has led to our advantages that are not often seen with competitors such as, “Thinking from customers’ standpoints,” “Thinking in-depth by understanding customers’ products/services/business” and “Partially assuming customers’ roles.”
As what we create is directly related to customers’ products and services, it can be safely said that “We have enriched consumers’ lives through our customers’ products and services,” and “Through our regular business, we have contributed to society.” It is our sincere desire that we maintain and develop relationships with customers, thereby contributing to our business growth and the creation of a prosperous future society.

  2. 02 Links with employees

Links with employees enable the mutual growth of the company and said employees. The software we provide is created by employees who are humans, despite current trends in automation, etc.
A clear distinction can be made from companies where machines make goods or offer services. A phrase that is often used, “People are all that matters,” is not just rhetoric but literally applies to our company. We can certainly say that employees are our only assets. With this belief, the company is determined to cherish employees and improve their job satisfaction.

  3. 03 Links with business partners

It is not an exaggeration to say that the links with our business partners are essential for the success of our projects. Projects will be successful only when members from different companies aim toward goals, act together and cooperate with each other, beyond the relationship of a supplier and customer. This is something I firmly believe. As per the expression, “in the same boat,” we make a promise to our business partners that we approach them as kindred spirits who work together towards a common goal. I believe we will have further opportunities to cooperate with companies that possess certain strengths we do not have. I earnestly aim to share thoughts with them and co-create a prosperous future society.

  4. 04 Links with society

I believe that links with society are deeply imprinted in our DNA. As the phrase used by Mr. Konosuke Matsushita, “public entity,” illustrates, it can be said that we are entrusted with employees and other precious management resources by society, and are thus responsible to take advantage of them in appropriate and effective ways and conduct healthy corporate management. As we have been able to overcome enormous difficulties, thanks to the philosophy that the reason for being of our company is to contribute to society, we are determined to continually contribute to society as a “public entity.”
